Miranda IM is a multi-protocol instant messenger client. By default, it supports AIM, ICQ, IRC, MSN and Jabber. But it has a powerful plugin system where it can be extended to support almost any other protocol you can throw at it, include Yahoo, Gadu-Gadu, Netsend, Skype etc. The plugin system is not limited to protocol support. You can find plugins for almost anything you can think of, including RSS feed reader, weather alert, world clock, etc.

UPX is a command-line tool that can significantly reduce the size of both EXEs and DLLs, allowing more programs to be packed onto a USB drive. No additional software is required for the compressed EXEs or DLLs to work. An additional benefit is a potentially faster loading program due to fewer read cycles to load the EXEs/DLLs. UPX Tool is a GUI wrapper for UPX for the command-line intimidated.

TreeSize shows you instantly which files or folders are taking up the most space on your harddisk. It is another example of a utility that does only one thing and does it well. I have used shell-integrated versions of similar utilities before, but it literally kills Windows Explorer while collecting statistics on large folders. It is far better to run something like TreeSize that does not impact system stability.

You select one or more shortcuts, and then delete them, resolve them or save the shortcut's details to HTML/Text/XML file.
